Do I need to provide ID when I register to vote in Colorado
No, but you do need to provide your Colorado Driver's License Number or your Department of Revenue Identification Number. If you don't have one of these numbers, you must provide the last four digits of your Social Security Number. If you don't have any of these numbers, you must indicate this on your voter registration form. If you don't follow these guidelines, you're voter registration form will not be processed. Please note: Colorado law requires ID from all voters at the polls, and from all first-time voters who cast absentee ballots (i.e. by-mail ballots). If you plan on voting by absentee ballot, you can include a copy of your ID with your voter registration form OR with your absentee ballot application OR with your voted absentee ballot.
